Highly recommended 1 star Michelin restaurant in Le Bar Sur Loop. Fantastic set menu , and fantastic wine cellar. Let the wine keeper take care of the choosing. The view was stunning from the restaurant . Staff very friendly and professional . We will come bake for sure. Lars Fausko - Norway

My husband and I live in the area, and this was our first dinner at this lovely restaurant. The food was amazing - presentation and taste. The service was impeccable, including a very knowledgeable sommelier who recommended a lovely wine with dinner and a delicious dessert wine. This is a family-owned restaurant/hotel that should easily have attained a Michelin star... More

We stayed here for just one night . We had a top floor room which was simply but tastefully done in a modern Provence style. The quality of the room, it's furnishings, and the hotel's location made it remarkably good value. The views from the room were amazing. We ate in the restaurant - dinner is quite expensive, and the... More

We didn't stay in the hotel but ate in the restaurant. A little quiet during the week but lovely food in a gorgeous setting (sweeping views). Really romantic with friendly spot on service. We ate in a michelin 3 star last week but this was much nicer - sophisticated delicious food with a relaxed pretty setting.

We stayed in the room called "Debussy" for one night. We had booked via the internet & happened to call the day before arrival to book dinner, at which time it took a while for them to find our reservation, so it might be a good idea to confirm, just to be sure. Family welcomed us and we were shown... More

What a find. One of those places that you dream about finding off the beaten track. Wonderful room and views from the top of a hill, and food that is simply out of this world. We turned up at 10.45 on a Thursday and although they were about ot close and go to bed, they gave us dinner and lots... More

The room (named Brahms) was large, with an immense bathroom. Furnishings were interesting, unique, and completely comfortable (especially the bed - a queen size with an excellent mattress and not the combination of two twin beds that too often make a king bed in European hotels). The view from our room was beautiful. The hotel was very quiet, though the... More

L'Hostellerie du Chateau has recently been taken over by the Sangoy family, whose friendly welcome adds to the charm of this small hotel. In an unbeatable location, perched on the hilltop, the views from the hotel are astounding, over tiled red roofs down into the valley of the Loup - watching the sunrise from the most comfortable hotel bed that... This is a fantastic small hotel in a suberb location with very nice and helpful owners and staff. There are only a few rooms in the restored 14th/15th century castle and all of them have beautiful views across the Loup Valley. The rooms are spacious and simple, but beautifully furnished. It is a very quiet location, right in the center... More
