We booked an overnight stay after having booked on the hotel's website, which clearly stated 111 EUROS PER NIGHT........so we arrived, the chateau itself is in a lovely setting. The shock came when we were presented with a bill for over 300 euros. They had upgraded us....charged us for it without telling us and breakfast was 16 Euros EACH!!!!! Needless... More

We spent a long weekend (3 nights) in this wonderful hotel. We needed a break and this was one of our best experieces. If you want to find time for yourself in a great environment, we can recommend this hotel. Our room was very nice, spacious but still cosy. But we were most impressed and pleased with the exceptional service.... More

We would normally stay at a cheaper hotel in Langres, called Le Cheval Blanc, which was closed Incidentaly it's very good, basic rooms in the annex, parking and good restaurant. Nice staff especially if they get to know you, This time we stayed at the Chateau and it was really lovely! Probably only 50.00euros more but what a difference !... More

We stayed at the hotel last night and were booked in for dinner and breakfast the following morning. We had booked a standard room in the main house - thinking of a cosy autumn break. When we arrived we were told that we had been upgraded - but were sorry to find ourselves in a funny annex at the rear... More

We did wonder where we were going but to our surprise we turned into the courtyard of this lovely Chateau de Courban. The owner a French Gentlemen was polite and very helpful he seemed to be around every corner waiting to assist you, perfect. Our Prestige suite was in the pool, garden area and was excellent with a very comfortable... More

We stopped of at his Chateau on the way back from Spain. I was unsure of what to expect but we were all plesently surprised. We had two rooms which were on the top floor. Both of these were of a good standard with comfortable beds and were clean and fresh. We were greeted by friendly staff upon arrival and... More

My fiancee and I went to the Chateau for 3 nights. The Chateau itself is very pretty, and our room was lovely, and great value .There were a couple of bits that looked a bit tired, but nothing to complain about. The pool and grounds were lovely. However we ate in the hotel restaurant on the first nice, and it... More

I'll be honest. We ended up staying here as the hotel we wanted to stay (after arriving on spec) was full. We went for the 'Sejour All Seasons' which gives you a 'luxe' room on the first floor of the main house, breakfast and dinner from the Menu Decouverte for 99€ per person. Contrary to other reviews on here, the... More

I asked another English guest what he thought of the place and he grimaced "not much". Which got us wondering just how high his standards were! The other reviews also seem to reflect a bit of a "hit and miss" approach which may be telling but all I can say is we found the place delightful and the staff extremely... More

After checking in we were shown to our room which appeared to be nicely decorated with draping curtains and floral furniture. It wasn't very practical with a toilet inside a "cupboard" close to the bed and the sink behind another "cupboard" on the opposite side of the room. There was no bar only lounges with books and there were no... More
