As for hotels in Jarabacoa, this is probably your best bet if your looking for a vacation hotel. The location is charming...along the river. Don't expect the rooms to compete with what you might expect at a really nice al inclusive in Punta Cana through. The food is OK, there are plenty of other spots to eat around town that... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The accomodations are basic but decent. For the price and location, you can't expect fancy 5 star rooms. We ended up getting a room that over looked the river and it was definitely worth the extra money so you can enjoy the view... More

The hotel is nice and is different than beeing on the beach in Dominican Republic, because it is located in the mountains near a river. If you like this type of sight seeing is really nice. We went for a wedding and the hotel did a pretty good job organizing about 120 people for 2 nights, since the celabrations were... More

We stayed here for three nights in Feb 2013. The hotel is right on the banks of the River Jimenoa in a lovely setting. We thought it well worth paying the extra for a room overlooking the river. There was free wifi in the hotel, but we could not get it inside our room, and ample parking on site. The... More

Although my wife and I have lived in the DR for 3-1/2 yrs. having moved here from Florida, we visited Gran Jimenoa for the 1st time last week. The hotel has one of the most beautiful settings in the Dominican, nesteled among palm and evergreen trees and lush surroundings. It also sits next to Río Jimenoa rapids, where you can... More

Located in the foothills where temperatures remain temperate all year, this property is a high leel tourist class hotel. The grounds are well maintained next to a rushing river and the restaurant serves very good food (although costly for the DR ... between $10 and $20 per person). It is a distance from town which ensures quiet but accessibility requires... More

very clean, very private place, nice to be with a love one. Our room view was excellent. I could see and hear the river running behind the hotel...the food was good. Breakfast was not that wowing, but was ok. I went on thangsgiving 2012 and there were some renovations going on, but overall, I like it.

It is near the city, but surrounding places are no the very cool. Service could be better. But it is a nice Hotel. The type of building it is not the most ideal. Place is so quiet and near the Jarabacoa city and has a river in it´s facilities.

I just stayed a night while on business in Jarabacoa. The surroundings, right on the river, were beautiful and pleasant, especially for eating on the restaurant terrace. The room was comfortable. Mine faced the river and I found the ever present sound of the river soothing, while others might be bothered by it (think sound of AC fan in background... More
