We went to Furano as non skiers so our opinion may be different to those who do ski. The hotel was probably new in 1980 but hasn't been touched since. Having said that the room was spacious and warm and the staff friendly and helpful.
Can't comment about the facilities for skiers but they appeared on par with the backpackers...
