This B&B belongs to the best we've ever stayed in, during our many visits to England. Quiet suroundings, a very nice sleeping room with a very cosy living room,and the breakfast was always very nicely presented, with an eye for detail. Martin and Halla are very friendly hosts indeed. Staying overnight, after attending a wedding, we had a problem finding Woodpecker Barn but Martin very kindly came out to find us. He and Halla couldn't have been more helpful or friendly and they have such a lovely home. Breakfast was superb; we look forward to returning and have recommended Woodpecker Barn to friends and family.

Martin and Halla have created a B&B experience that can have few equals in terms of comfort and quality. our fourth visit. As Monty Python would say, " nudge, nudge, say no more". A trip to Kent to see children and now grandchildren is rewarded by a stay at Woodpecker Barn. We will keep coming twice a year.

Stayed for 2 nights and can honestly say this place ticks all the boxes! Accommodation is great, with a private upstairs lounge to relax in with tea/coffee, TV etc. Breakfasts are delicious...cooked to order and with quality ingredients! The hosts are knowledgeable in the local area and can recommend restaurants, walks, sightseeing etc. Great place to stay and relax...thoroughly recommended!!
