Stayed for 1 night, going over the moat & through the drawbridge was an excellent start. We were warmly welcomed. The meal (although no choice)was well presented and included wine. We managed to swim in the pool, and then had breakfast. Only comment would be if you like quiet great if not, not your place.

The castle is in a very quiet village and looks wonderful from any direction. We took the most expensive room for two nights.
