We stayed for 2 nights on a kgb voucher and had a very nice experience.Pleasant owner and staff,excellent food and ambience and a great base for exploring the delights of Northumberland.Our room-10-was adequate and good value for what we paid.Would definitely return again.

Stayed here for 2 nights as a KGB voucher deal- comfortable room (rm 6) though bed was a small double, had no complaints. Room looked out onto the high street but no traffic noise. Called in for lunch before going walking in the nearby countryside. The fish, chips and mushy peas was just as it should be. Generous portions and cooked just right. Staff very friendly and the service was good. If in Rothbury, here's where to eat.
