Invited for a Week end, this place is really a perfect one: big room, very well renovated, quite with a somptuous view on the "Parc Maulvrier". Huge height of rooms: more than 4 meters. Clean and confortable bathroom. The restaurant was really excellent: nice room, fridendly staff and the menu was really perfect. Travelling very often across Europe, I definitly... More

Very nice, old castle. The standard top rooms (which were used for the maids) are cosy and interesting, with an old wooden staircase for the servants. The Rooms on the 1st floor are large Rooms, with floor to ceiling windows. Very nice park adjacent to a Japanese garden.

I spent a good stay, the common rooms are full of charm, there are significant differences between the rooms of one floor and those upstairs. The attached restaurant is excellent quality, both in proboste that in raw materials. The breakfasts are pretty nice. Parking is free. I recommend it to everyone, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed at the chateau for three nights in September 2010. As many of the other reviewers have written, the 2nd floor rooms are budget but very clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the Japanese gardens. The prestige rooms seem lovely if you want to spend a bit more. We dined at the chateau for 2 of our 3... More

I agree with previous posters that the the inexpensive rooms didn't give you a castle feel. The hallway to the rooms felt like a Comfort Inn, but once in the room, I had no complaints. Full bathroom with everything we need, furnished nicely, comfortable bed, plenty of room for my husband and I. There was a loft area in our... More

The Hotel was just wonderful. We stayed in the main building in one of the suites. I have never seen such huge rooms and high ceilings. The wardrobe was gigantic. But more importantly was the really welcoming atmosphere and the comfort of everything. The building is old and we think the odd squeaking floorboard and flaking paint here and there... More

Hotel is very beautiful and it was nice way to experience Loire castle comparing to queuing hours for the turist castles. We booked the most cheapest room, and it was on the second floor, wich was build in the hotel propably somewhere around eighties. The room was not any castle like. I also highly recommend for booking the better category.... More

We were there for one night on the way to La Baule. As it looked really nice in the pictures, I was expecting a really nice place. Well, it wasn't bad...but the room we had was so small and everything was so shabby. The prestige room I happen to look in on the way down to the reception was really... More

We have chosen this chateau hotel based on price and reviews on Tripadvisor. It is a little far from any important places, but that aspect did not bother us. We stayed there for 2 nights. The Prestige Room we had was very large and stylish. I wish I had a four poster bed room, but when I asked about it... More

We stopped in at this Hotel/Chateau and stayed one night in October. The Chateau is remarkably beautiful. We figured after getting the rate that the room would be small but it wasn’t. We had a large room with a desk and large double windows that looked out to the gardens. There was a loft accessible by a stair ladder and... More
