This hotel is by no means the cheapest in the world BUT, if you are looking for peace and quiet with eleganly furnished rooms and a restaurant with a fantastic menu...this is it. The staff are extermely pleasant and helpful. It stands in its own grouinds with an approach avenue like out of a movie and pool plus all the... More

My daughter and I stayed at Chateau Les Bruyeres on a beautiful Spring weekend. We sat in the gorgeous garden in the sun and enjoyed a glass of apple cider and were charmed by the horses, the donkeys and the adorable giant Dogue de Bordeaux puppy. My daughter borrowed a bike and rode to a local farm where she bought... More

Booked here for our final night in Normandy (March 21). Not only was the restaurant not open (not mentioned when booked nor anywhere on their website) but the place was put on security lockdown so that when we returned after dinner in town at 9pm, the only option was to proceed directly to our room which lacked a single comfortable... We thank you for your comment and we would like to bring some precisions and rectifications. On the 17th of May 2012, 35 minutes after your booking reception, we had sent you an email to inform you about restaurant closing dates. Also it was not mentioned on your reservation about booking dinner. Our email has stayed without return… You had... More

In beautiful surroundings lies the Chateau les Bruyeres. the staff is very professional and above all friendly, that's what most travellers are looking for, I think. The room was very nice and clean, the whole interior of the hotel is very warm and above all cosy.. the lobby a real cosy place with at cold evenings an nice fireplace. The... More

We thank you for your comment and we would like to bring some precisions and rectifications. Concerning this strange smell which you noticed, it indeed happens that the steams of the lily flowers which we arrange in the reception can disturb. We are sorry if it was the case for you; generally ours bunches of flowers are very appreciated by... More

Food was outstanding, the venue breathtaking, and the staff extremely accommodating. Just what we needed after a week in Paris.

We came, we saw, we fell in love. Takes a lot to impress us - and boy where we impressed. Food to die for, Calvadoes dating back to 1865 just sitting there waiting to be drunk, service so welcoming and helpful. This is definitely a luxury - and i didn't begrudge a single penny. If what you seek is peace,... More

A big thank you to the wonderful staff who made us feel so welcome in this classy demure. Dining in its restaurant is quite an experience, very refined food for the palet where the Chef mixes different kinds of ingredients that is a sheer delight! Would love to come back again.

As soon as we entered The Chateau Les Bruyeres, we were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff. For me, this is always a sign of a good hotel. Our bedroom was excellent and most comfortable. We had dinner with friends and both the food and service were superb. Nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff. We... More

Stayed here for our honeymoon the 1st week of April for our honeymoon. My Aussie wife was al ittle apprehensive of staying somewhere where she does n't speak the native language and was a little unsure of the local menus. Well, a few days in this hotel with quite frankly charming staff who put her completely at her ease dispelled... More

The chateau itself as well as its huge territory is very beautiful, charming and well maintained. A lot of antique furnishings and decor. The food in the restaurant is of excellent quality ; some of the products coming from the chateau gardens. Overall, very pleasant memories and highly recommended for romantic stays and sightseeing tours around.
