My Husband and I stayed in the hotel for a night and the restaurant was exceptionally good. I believe they have a new, young chef who is producing some very good dishes. I would highly recommend the restauant. It has been the best in our trip round France. The rooms were well supplied and very comfortable.

This chateau compares very badly with other chateaux standards - instead of emphasising its history it's gone the 'boutique hotel' route. The bedrooms vere very basic - did not even have shampoo/showergel, reception just told us they haven't got it! Building/surrounds and restaurant are 5 star, staff and rooms are at best 2 star. The Chateau is apparently 9th century but the first impression is marred by the strange modern art sclptures which dot the grounds and building.
