Having read the earlier reviews we were quite worried about going to the Moulin d'Hauterive using a SmartBox-weekend. Our experience was completely different and exceeded our expectations. The staff was very forthcoming and helpful, our room (22) was very pleasant, and the dinner was excellent. We recommend the hotel to get rid of the artificial flowers, which act as dust-collectors.

Location is miles from anywhere (is not even on Tom Tom) so if you want to dine out then you will either need to drive to Beaune or take a taxi which costs circa 50 Euros each way. We felt that pets are more welcome than families with kids - at least our family. Note also that you are expected to have dinner in the restaurant.
