We stayed here when we were at Elstree Studios it was adequate in all areas , no lift for our poor old knees but we got through all in all the place is a little tired and in need of a lick of paint and a good clean.

The room was shocking! We stayed here for two nights due to our friend's wedding, I will NEVER be staying here again! It was filthy! I wouldn't even use the bath as looking at the state of it I would have come out dirtier than getting in! We were given 1 pillow each with no spares, when collecting a spare... More

Overdone air freshener hits you as you enter the building, rooms and corridors need new carpets.room 115 has boiler pump noise all night.I did not like the pubic hairs left by the previous occupier in the bath nor the dust on the tablelamp and the stains in the toilet bowl .I stayed in room 106.Average price per night was £30

Ive stayed here before when it was an InnKeepers lodge, I feel the standard has really slipped sorry to say, we stayed in room 102 which is ground floor almost next to reception. There was a very unpleasant damp smell in the corridoor and room, think they had a bit of a radiator problem as there was a fan heater... More

Pretty much what you'd expect from a Travelodge - cheap and cheerful. Although our room could've done with a bit of a clean - there were a lot of cobwebs on the bathroom ceiling and heaps of dust behind the bedside tables. A random heater was in the room, despite there being a radiator and tow of the three lamps... More

We stayed here for our visit to Harry Potter Studios. We have been in quite a few Travelodges over the years and this one is probably the second worst, though for under £30.00 for a family of four we come to expect the worst with this firm. We always take our own pillows. The room was warm and clean but... More

My family (husband, me and 2 daughters, 12 and 9), stayed here between a trip to Harry Potter Studios (15 mins drive) and day in London (30 mins). It's most definitely not one of the better Travelodges, but OK if you can get the room for £19 as we did. The corridors are damp and very smelly. Thankfully our room,... More

We only wanted to stay overnight, and this hotel wasn't too far from our Dinner Dance venue so that influenced my choice. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, but a couple of the lights weren't working. The receptionist was very helpful and tried to rectify this, but even though she changed the light bulb in the bedside light it still... More

We booked to stay one night to enjoy a break after a 180 miles journey to attend a local family gathering, the plan was to return home the following morning. We booked the stay prior to seeing the Tripadvisor feedback. Having seen the feedback and after our family do yesterday (Sunday) we decided to do the long journey back home... More
