The hotel its self is modern with the rooms very well furnished with all the 'normal' facilities, flat screen TV, etc. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There are a couple of lounge/sitting areas and very pretty grounds to the front of the building with views over the golf course. Its easy to find andd has extensive car parking. Unfortunatlly... More

This hotel lives up to the bulk of reviews written here, big comfortable rooms, plenty of wardrobe space (becoming increasingly rare) and convenient for Bath etc, the restaurant is above average for the class of hotel - although could do without the trendy platters food was served on ! - the only downside was a wine list that was overpriced,... We recently stayed at the Centurion & would definitely recommend this hotel. I had a couple of treatments in the spa which were very good. We ate in Jays Bar & the food was very good as was the service. The breakfast was great both days with plenty of choice & replenished frequently. We experienced a problem on one of... More

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights recently. We wanted to stay somewhere convenient between Street, Somerset and Bath. The hotel was pretty easy to find, just 9 miles from Bath, and there was plenty of parking. Checking in was very easy and efficient. Our twin room was on the ground floor just near reception. The room was... More

A nice hotel, a little out of the way but in a nice location particularly if the weather is good. Staff are very accommodating and pleasant. Food is very good too and there is a nice pool and gym. I have stayed here several times with my wife and two year old son and I will be returning.

I stayed in this hotel with family, we were in the area visting Longleat and decided to make a weekend of it. The hotel was excellent, members of the party used the leisure facilities which they said were excellent and we ate in the restaurant in the evening which was superb. The hotel did have a wedding on and the... More

Better than expected! Pleasant building with nice outlook over golf course at the rear - not so good to the front. A bit isolated on the edge of small, rather ordinary town, but easy to get to other places. Staff very pleasant, restaurant quite good.

I have stayed here several times over the last few years and will come back again in the future. All the staff I have dealt with are very helpful and they all smile, something I do not see in many other hotels. A great base from which to visit Bath(about 20 minutes drive to the Park and ride) and surrounding area.... More

We came for a 2 night stay to take in the attractions of Bath and Cheddar Gorge. Lovely meals in the hotel restaurant both nights, the cheesecake was to die for!!! Standard room was spacious and very clean. Would return.

As single female travelling is always both exciting and daunting. From first contact when they called me asking for balance of payment, they understood I did not want to give credit card ~ out to ubsolicited phone call and let me call them back. Room was typical modern clean and well serviced. RESTURANT was above standard pub food using locally... More
