Not a bad location from the airport. Room looked clean, they require a bit of maintenance though. Pool is in a great location. Car park is down a flight of stairs from the room which was a bit of a pain. Pub right out front, shops a quick walk down the road.

We stayed in a QueenSuperior room which was lovely. The bathroom was a little out dated but it was a nice size and the bed was sooooooooo comfortable I wish I could have taken it home with me! Stayed over a long weekend recently with a group of relatives and was very impressed by this motel. Our relatives have been using this motel, albeit infrequently, for the past 20 years The rooms are clean and large - the beds enormous!! You have a front entrance and another rear entrance leading onto the gardens and pool [see the website].... More

Stayed here for a week in march '12. Was a good location for our group and was close to shopping and restaurants. Not glamorous, but doesn't claim to be. Beds a little on the soft side. Bathrooms could use some work - very noisy plumbing. Staff friendly and helpful. Would prob stay here again.

We arrived late from Cairns and were greeted by couteous, friendly owner. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Rooms were really nice, large and beautifully decorated. Great value.
