“Tired, dated and overpriced but generally OK to stay at”

This is a tired and dated "Lodge" at the back of Sandown Park race course. I am staying here alone for one night while working at the Toolfair exhibition. At £80 a night the room is well overpriced for what you get. Room is basic and almost Travelodge in style but more dated. Linen is clean and room is tidy.... More

A smallish hotel (originally for jockeys at the race course) that's well placed just off Esher High Street (loads of good but pricey and packed out restaurants), walking distance from Esher station and sort-of overlooking the race course. Accommodation is basic and a bit dated but comfortable enough and has everything you need (except shampoo or Freeview on the TV).... More
