We did no sleep in the hotel but in a building next to it. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. It was perfect. Laura was very charming and gave us a lot of information about the Los Picos De Europa. It made our trip even more enjoyable. We will recommend it to all of our friends.

I stayed here 3 nights with my daughter and we loved it. The cost was very reasonable and we had a lovely mountain view too. We had a Twin room and the beds were great to sleep on, the bathroom also was well equipped. The place was spotless. Breakfast was a very good offering and included in the cost. Carmen the owner is a lovely lady and very friendly, providing ideas and recommendations as to where to go and what to do. All the staff were very friendly also. Excellent wifi connection. We asked for a late check out if possible, and as there was no one checking in the following day we were allowed to stay until 4pm which was very generous. Thank you so much Carmen! Would love to go back as Arenas de Cabrales is a great place to use as a base for the Picos.

I can’t believe how lucky we got with finding this gem of a hotel. It’s set in beautiful surroundings, spotlessly clean and the rooms are both spacious and comfortable. The staff are super friendly and helpful, too. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

This is absolutely one of the best places I have ever stayed! It is beautifully decorated! The host are so nice and accommodating! A buffet breakfast was included! When I return to this area this will be my choice of hotels!

We have just spent two nights at this hotel, visiting to do the Cares walk in Picos de Europa. I messed up our booking and arrived a day early, but lady who greeted us was excellent, and arranged room for us although hotel was full. Hotel is very clean, rooms comfortable, lots of hot water, extremely quiet at night, gorgeous setting, and 2 minute walk to restaurants. Breakfast provided is simple and basic, but tasty, and excellent coffee. Staff speak limited English, but keen to help, and very hospitable. Would highly recommend staying here, and would happily return.

Stayed for 4 nights in September 2019. It was a beautifully situated hotel with amazing window views (we stayed in Room 7). Room was clean, comfortable and cosy with good working shower. Loved the resident hotel dog who (lazily) greeted us more than a few times when we returned from hikes! Breakfast was perfect with hot drinks, a gigantic piece of toasted baguette and lots of ham, cheese, jams, fruit, yogurt and local cakes to choose from. Would love to go back!

This is a lovely hotel. Easy parking out front. Short walk to restaurants. Gorgeously decorated throughout, with a very homey feel. And lovely gardens in the back. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

I needn’t have been concerned at a 2 star rating as this hotel is truly a little gem. I have stayed in 4 star establishments that can’t hold a candle to this place. Spotlessly clean, friendly helpful happy staff, beautiful location, large secure private car park, biker friendly ... the list goes on. Don’t even think about it, just book it now!

Really fine hotel, friendly staff, nicely renovated, large comfy room, spotlessly clean. They provided an excellent, freshly prepared breakfast. We slept to the sounds of rippling water in the stream below. In a couple weeks we will be in New York paying 4 times the price for a hotel that isn’t nearly as nice as El Torrejon.
