We stayed for 3 nights over the May bank holiday weekend and had a brilliant time. We booked quite last minute and were offered a caravan as everything else was pretty much sold out, was a little bit worried as we were taking our 6 month old little boy and was worried about lack of space, clenliness etc. The park... I've been before and enjoyed my time at Woodlands but this February my husband hired Holly Lodge as a surprise birthday gift. Holly lodge is small but comes with the benefit of private hot tub and sauna! Amazing. Except out sauna only worked the first night and maintainence couldn't fix it, they did apologise and said we'd receive compensation as... More

Firstly many thanks for writing a review customer feedback good or bad is most important to us we have to accept that in order to learn and improve some constructive criticism is inevitable. Mechanical problems be it boilers hot tubs fridges or in this instance saunas are sometimes quite difficult to diagnose and repair without specialist knowledge. I have looked... More

We stayed 3 nights at Woodlands last month. The check in ladies were both friendly and helpful, and informed us that we had been upgraded to a better caravan with central heating due to the unusually cold weather (snow in March) as we had a baby. This was much appreciated. One staff member showed us to our caravan, unfortunately one... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our holiday park. Over the past 9 months the staff have been through a tremendous learning curve and I believe that we are offering high levels of customer service. Of course occasionally we do get it wrong in this instance it would appear we have met your expectations and I am delighted... More

I can honestly say it is a wonderful place to stay but just a few tweeks but would complete the experience. I have just returned from a 3night break with two other couples and thoroughly enjoyed it (we had amazing weather). We arrived around 3.40, granted check in is from 4.00pm but we thought we would ask to see if... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our holiday park. I am bitterly disappointed that our normal high levels of customer service in this instance have not been met. We had experienced a difficult changeover day with as you have pointed out some cleanliness issues from the previous occupants, this however is our issue and should certainly not have... More

Stayed at beech 2 cabin for a weekend. The cabin was clean and well equipped. Tucked away in the woods with a hot tub on the decking. We used all the facilities at the main site which we found very child friendly. The restaurant food was great and the staff cheery and very helpful even when under pressure on a... More

Fantastic little weekend away in one of the appleyard caravans. It was our first break away with our little boy (20 weeks old) and it was an ideal place for us to go. Travel cot and highchair provided at no extra cost. Pool was lovely and clean with a family changing cubicle - ideal for us both to get changed... More

Stayed in a Woodland Owl Lodge 6 bed log cabin for a long weekend and we were utterly charmed, not just by the location and the quality of the accommodation but by the professional standards of service from everyone we met. Impeccable welcome upon arrival at reception and delighted with the ultra high standards of cleanliness that greeted us when... More

We rented a caravan for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was spotlessly clean, modern, comfortable with a gas fire to warm the chilly evenings and had a great shower. It was much more spacious than we were expecting and had a well-equipped kitchen, and we were pleasantly surprised to be given access to free Wi-Fi which... More
