The food, the staff and the location are all lovely. The food really is tasty, especially the sunday lunches. Really family friendly as took our new born baby there and the staff bent over backwards to help us.

The second time I have stayed at the Olway on business. Very good evening meal, and a generally friendly atmosphere in the bar area during the evening. The accommodation is clean, very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep which is a good indication of a good quality establishment. Breakfast was excellent. This accommodation was very good value for...

We would like to thank Matthew and Nicola for their fantastic hospitaity over the weekend of the 27th and 30th April
After Drving from London in our not built for the rain Caterham Cars we got a very warm welcome on Friday, the food in the restraunt was amazing, especially the Pear tarte and the Chocolate fondant.

We were on a long journey from the Midlands to Pembrokeshire and the supper we were served at the Olway Inn was so superior to anything we ate all week that I almost made a special detour to visit on the way back. Generous portions, real ingredients and a fabulous pie. Great.
Stayed at Olway Inn on the 7th April with my wife has a birthday treat. Food was fantastic, good selection, but you may feel like we did and require a good long walk afterwards(which is a good thing). Accomodation we could not fault, rooms clean, comfortable and the little touches were appreciated ie bottled water, sweets by the side of...

stayed here for one night whilst fishing the Usk. Excellent food in the bar, bedroom with all the little extras such as bottled waters, soaps, tea and coffee, biscuits and even an umbrella to borrow. All followed by a great breakfast. best value for money for miles around.
We have just returned following a weekend at the Olway. Very welcoming - nothing was too much trouble; excellent food and well kept beer. We have already booked to return during the summer with friends.
We stayed at the Olway for a weekend last September and since then I have been meaning to provide a review!
We were warned before booking that there was an outside stair case and the rooms were compact. No problem for us, especially as we were warned in advance. The rooms were a little compact but amazingly comfortable and everything...

Helpful and friendly staff, good home-cooked food (mushrooms in breadcrumbs freshly made - not the usual packet variety), very good steak and ale pie and home cooked chips. Only one real ale available but in good condition. Room was very well fitted out and comfortable. I appeared to be the only person staying but the lady who cooked breakfast to...

This pub with accommodation does excellent food from comprehensive bar and restaurant menus and is used extensively by the locals for eating. Nice bunch in the bar too. Dogs welcome. Good quiet location, plenty of parking space, close enough to Usk to walk.
There were repeat bookers there while we were there, but we did have some issues with the...
