Stayed here as part of our honeymoon. Once the staff knew they were excellent and really made it special for us. Great service and hotel itself is new and very comfortable. Location easy for the lakes if you hire a car. Nice restaurant with local food.

We stayed at Hotel Degenija for two nights. We arrived very late at night after 11pm and were greeted and assisted by one of many great hotel staff. The facility is new and modern, but despite some of the glowing reviews here our experience was not great. Apparently the welcoming drink is not always offered, as we were not offered one. This hotel is excellent. We were offered a shot of grappa on arrival by the lovely gentleman on reception, which went down very well given the cold, snowy weather outside Rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Situated only a couple of km from Plitvice Lakes. Very friendly welcome. We were immediatelyu offered a welcome drink. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Next to the hotel is a restaurant. Excellent food and not expensive.

If you want to have nice, relaxing weekend near national park where you can enjoy walking and sightseeing beautiful nature you should stay at hotel degenija. The service is great, nice and clean rooms, very homely atmosphere. Little hotel with big heart:)

Very nice atmosphere, great decorated and very warm clean place with great pizza! Was passing by in a search for a good restaurant and can recommend for sure! Its near national park (ab 6-7km away) worth of visiting
