We have just stayed self catering at The Byre at Menkee Barns. This was an excellent choice, giving very comfortable accomodation in a lovely setting. It is convenient to a number of beaches and coastal walks.

Very charming and welcoming and caring hosts, great large rooms and bathrooms, nice garden, great breakfast, good location to explore south und northcoast from one place, britanny at it's best. Good support to plan how to explore the surroundings including resaturants and dinner reservation.
Menkee Barns is one of those rare finds that you just want to tell everyone about. We have stayed at a great variety of B&Bs, and this ranks up there with the best. Situated on a lovely country property a short drive from Bodmin, this is the ideal base from which to explore Cornwall.
