A warm welcome and excellent food in the restaurant enhanced my stay
Ridiculuosly over priced considering you can stay out the newly renovates Crown Hotel just down the road for less per night. The rooms are of a much lower standard of Premier Inns for example, not even on par with travel lodge. Service okay but owners seem very 'cliquey' and also seem to suffer delusions of grandeur with their overpriced prententious...

On arrival we were greeted by a charming Gentleman by the name of Ben very courteous who booked us in and showed us to our room which was no 6. The room was traditional if somewhat worn with paint coming off the toilet wall and a grubby carpet but for one night we could live with that.

The most welcoming and friendly place we've ever stayed. The food was outstanding the steak...

I arrived late in the afternoon and although the hotel had stopped serving lunch, it seemed no effort to the hotel to provide me with a bar snack. The receptionist was very polite and welcoming and carried my bags to my room. The room was especially clean, tastefully decorated, with a comfy bed! Bar service and dinner was exceptional and...
