I agree with most that was said, just some distilled highlights -- 1) ask for one of the 900 rooms, the view is spectacular and the room is very well furnished 2) the weather there could be very rough, so prepare for the rain and especially strong winds 3) the service is a bit rude, don't expect much coddling 4)... This hotel is located right on Grey Lake (Lago Grey). There is a beautiful view from the dining room and deck. There are boat rides to the Grey Glacier as well as some nice hiking. Room was quiet and clean. Just what we were looking for. More

The spectacular views from the dining room/deck make up the small rooms. Can't think of a nicer place to be. We were one of the first to check in after the fires. Highly recommend! More

Hosteria Lago Grey is one of those places that is perfect for its setting. It has a lodge atmosphere and spectacular views. I had a room on the back side, so my view was of the forest, but the common areas of the main building have amazing views. I would describe the rooms as large, clean, rustic and comfortable. The... We were in one of the new rooms (ask for one of the 800 or 900 rooms). We were there before the fires. Food was fine, great buffet breakfast. The views were amazing, changing with sun position. Both sunrise ans sunset were special. More

Lago Grey Hosteria looks a little like a 50's style American motel - several lines of attached rooms in a row. This is true of the standard rooms, my glimpse of the superior rooms looked a little different and they have the lake view. We had a triple, which was large and comfortable and clean, perfectly adequate, although overpriced as... More

My boyfriend and I were in Torres Del Paine in November 2011. We planned our trip a few months before our actual travel date and hence did not have many options for hotels. We made reservations at Lago Grey Hosteria. I had questions about getting to the hotel from the tour bus which was bringing us to The Administration area.... More

You seriously will not believe the view out of our room when you arrive. Mid summer, a lake, blue glaciers?? No you have not drunk too much wine. Staggering! And the new rooms are utterly beautiful -wonderful beds plenty of space ... of course the cost is high ($400+ in November 2010) but spoil yourself! Disadvantage is that there is... More

Lago Grey has excellent views from the restaurant, bar and SOME rooms. Other rooms are fairly dismal and not overly clean. This makes a huge difference in your experience here! Rooms are outside entry with a cabiny feel (at least mine was.) Meals are nicely appointed and fairly tasty, The dining experience was pleasant - almost like a low budget... More

Only a short stay there, but we will cherish the time spend there. Not a new, modern, state of the art hotel , but a warm and cozy place to be, with outside a wind blowing and inside nice people, good coffee, splendid wines and good food. The view is dramatic: blue icebergs, foamy waves, white mountains. GREAT More
