If you're on your way and just passing through Pakxé, well this is THE place you'll want to spend some time in so you can clean up properly and relax on the rooftop bar with some good food and drinks. The rooms are specious and clean, service is very good. Excellent prices!

I stayed here twice on my last trip to Laos. I had an outside rear facing room and although it was not the most modern it was clean, well equipped and even had a proper table you could write at or use a computer on. Where this hotel scores is the level of service. From laundry to the use of... More

After 14 days on the road I needed some pampering. Elevator, room service, clean linen, wifi, TV and air con. All boxes ticked here. Rates are reasonable.

The hotel is nice, rooms are nice (as long as you take a room with outside windows) and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is easy to get along and across the street there is a curreny exchange and some litte shops and a local market is just round the corner. The only thing to complain about is the... More

As we were only staying briefly we picked an economy room which was clean and functional. The hotel is centrally located and the staff were welcoming although we must have arrived dusty and sweaty after a long bike ride. The bicycles were kept in a safe place at the back of the hotel. The restaurant on the roof is more... More

The Pakse hotel is centrally located and handy to restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The restaurant on the roof is a great place to eat and provides good views of the town and the Mekong. The ground floor restaurant is an equally good alternative if the weather is bad. Staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms are adequately furnished.

The Pakse Hotel is probably the best available property in the town. The breakfasts are average but the view from the rooftop restaurant is very good including the Japanese bridge crossing the Mekong. The food is interesting and serves the purpose and probably the Lao offerings are better than the European alternatives. Avoid Namkhong the beer on offer since Beer... More

Booked one of the deluxe rooms with views towards the river. I was given a twin room even though I booked a double but didn't bother to complain. The rooms were clean and functional. I never was able to quite figure out the hot water heater for the shower which alternated between scalding and freezing. I was disappointed with the... More

We stayed at the Pakse hotel for 4 nights in total returning to the hotel after a trip to 4000 islands. The hotel was exceptional value for money, we were given an excellent room. Breakfast was included and was very good. We got advice from the manager who was very helpfull about travelling onto Vietnam. The staff were all very... More

The roof top cafe is a nice place to have a few drinks at sundown, and that the only positive thing i could say about this over-rated and pretentious dump! That is unless you prefer to be in tourist or should I say traveler trap, where the only Lao your likely to see will be the gum chewing rude waiting... More
