The rooms and location of the family-run resort are excellent. Very clean and comfy beds. While sitting on your balcony, you feel like you're in the middle of nature with the noise of water falling down and the sounds of the insects. There's a very calming and relaxed atmosphere. The staff and especially mr. Khambay go above and beyond to... More

I do not know which planet Matthew S is from but his review could not be further from our experience. My wife and I were travelling inLao with our son and his Chinese girlfriend. This resort was as good as anything we stayed in on our travels and certainly one of the most beautiful settings. It is isolated so you... More

Well what can I say, an old coffee plantation turned into a "resort" surrounded by valleys of green and waterfalls...beautiful yes, but its more than meets the eye... The rooms are nice I must admit but something seemed off, when I woke up for breakfast after a late check in, a foreign "worker" told me if I wanted breakfast just... More

We have been on a six months trip when we arrived at Etu-Resort. First we wanted to stay for two nights only - but finally we stayed there much longer. We had a wonderful bungalow with a nice view on the water and a large private balcony - everthing is very quiet and really nice for relaxing and you can... More

Ban etu waterfall resort is simply wonderfull! We stayed for 2 nights with our 3 children and loved every minute of it. We really enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and mr Khambay especially. We did a few hour trekking through coffee plantations, highland and the challenging but beautifull trail from tat fane to tat nyeung waterfall. Our guide ,... More

I stayed a night with my sister and a friend, loved every minute. Gorgeous private bungalows with balcony perfect for sundowner listening to the sound of the falls. Fantastic breakfasts included in cost. Dinner could be improved but was ok. Sat by fire outside chatting into the night. Great guided walk (2 plus hours) through coffee villages to nearby falls.... It is much better to be based on the Plateau Bolevan itself than in Pakse when you are in that part of Southern Laos. Pakse struck me as a dusty boring place. E–Tu Resort is in about 35 min drive from Pakse airport and is a perfect base to explore the wonders of the Plateau. The owner, Mr. Khambay, met... More

The location is beautiful. You sleep right next to the waterfall, so there is always a relaxing background nature-music playing. You can even go swimming in several spots (not like the places in the bolaven plateau, where the waterfalls are too big or/and the water too far away from the accommodations)! The bungalows are beautiful and new and look nice... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Ban E-Tu resort, the location is great, right by one of the famous Bolaven Plateau waterfalls and the villa we stayed in was spacious, clean, well furnished and had its own balcony. What really made the stay for us however was the hotel owner who could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful... More
