Rooms nothing to write home about but clean and functional. Try to park at rear of hotel and unload via the back door - stairs are not easy with luggage. Excellent restaurant with good choices of food.

In the small village of Montsegur just below the ruins of the Cathar chateau on the top of the peak. Montsegur was the last stand and held out for almost a year before being conquered! The auberge was very comfortable. They were very accomodating to the 3 of us. Nice dinner with good regional specialties. The real France.

We had lunch here after visiting Montsegur. Great outdoor eating place with nice salads. A little expensive but understandable given location. Great friendly service You do need to walk through town to find it

Very friendly staff, good food, nice and clean rooms. Adorable location at the foot of the famous mountain, where the Cathars had their last stand in 1244. Excellent watering hole for weary hikers on the Sentier de Cathares.

We stayed two nights in this lovely little hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The terrace was a beautiful peaceful place to enjoy the delicious meals or just sit and relax. There was a wealth of local information available and some great walks in the area. The room was full of character, comfortable and clean.
