The Peninsula hotel in Chittagong doesn't look like much. But once you enter via the security and take the lift to the reception on the 3rd floor you are greeted by friendly staff and a pleasant environment.
The room was better than expected even though not overly large but with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Wifi is available on...

Stayed in the hotel as attending an event being held in the venue.
Room okay - quite nicely furnished and nice TV - however, adjoining door to next room so some slight disruption (presume guest next door had similar complaint). Also on quite a busy road - although seemed to get quieter after midnight.
Breakfast buffet not great, with table-cloth...

Probably the most expensive place to stay in the city but something of a haven after the mania outside. There is a pool on the roof,fitness-room,sauna and steam-bath.
It is a nice place to stay and very freindly staff. It is a bit pricy and you might find some cheaper places.
I often stay here when I am in Chittagong for work. Its new, modern and nice, and with a good location. The rooms are all good, although the beds are a bit hard, and the service is good. Breakfast is OK, nothing special, and there is a small pool and gym on the roof, which is a nice place to...

I'm writing this from my room in the Peninsular Hotel. I have stayed here a few times and have always found it comfortable, clean and the staff very helpful. No doubt it is the best in Chittagong and one of the best places in the country. The restaurants are good, usually providing a buffet with good selection. Internet in the...

Location is ideal, as business houses are located closeby. Also, tourist attractions are not very far.
Rooms are clean although not luxurious. The hotel seems quite old, hence you will find marks on the walls, bedsheets etc.
Sleep quality was very good. Staff was hospitable. No complaints whatsoever.
The restaurant Laguna, provides Indian, Chinese and Thai food, which is delicious....

OK hotel - I would equate it to an old Hilton in the US. Friendly staff. Room was clean and breakfast buffet was acceptable. The only significant issue that I had was the fitness center didn't open until 8AM - definitely not user-friendly for many business travelers.
We were there sept 2-6. the hotel is comfortable and from our rooms had a great view of the city, however i have not been able to understand how it could worth it price wise.
