We had an amazing/amazing time at Tenorio Lodge. It was casual fare and very homely. The individual bungalows are clean and well maintained. Setting is very artsy. We woke up to birds chirping and some amazing views of Tenorio Mountains. Saw more birds/frogs/butterflies on the property than on our hike to Rio Celeste I could not have been happier with... More

My wife and I stayed here in early May for an evening on the way to Rio Celeste. Although we were only there for an evening, it was a great place. The landscaping around the lodge was beautiful and there was an abundance of wildlife around. We had seen a couple other reviewers mention that the owners were not friendly... More

The eco-friendliness and the friendliness of the owners, Franck and Christine, made us feel like we made the right decision. Every night of our stay we opted for their freshly prepared, locally sourced, natural meals. This was one of the best decisions we made our entire trip. The view from our room was amazing.

Beautiful hotel with very few private guest cabins. Excellent design, architecture, fittings, and quality construction materials. Huge, wall sized windows, in each room give greenery and volcano views without compromising privacy. Friendly owners and nice Ambience for breakfast. Owners generously printed some photos for me to give to a sponsor child that I had come to visit in a nearby... More

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tenorio Lodge! The lodge is absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous garden and view of the Tenorio Volcano. The bungalows were clean, comfortable, and inviting with their big open windows and spacious bedroom. We had an extremely relaxing stay and enjoyed a very tasty dinner at the restaurant!

Great rooms, modern, spacious and lots of light with giant windows. A French couple run this place and are really warm and friendly. A lot of french people come here I think. But their food is great and they make everyone feel welcome. This one of the best places I stayed in costa rica and a great base for Rio... More

We stayed at the lodge two nights. The cabin we had (#8) was great, you feel so secluded with large windows to view the volcano and watch the birds. It felt like sleeping out in nature. The rooms were very clean and the grounds were well manicured. They offer dinners (extra cost) and the food was very good. They have... More

We visited this hotel a few months back. Though in a rural part of Costa Rica the Lodge is located in between two large volcanoes. Tenorio especially is stunning and our room had a great view. The owner is French but speaks decent English and is a very pleasant hostess. We had a very good supper and a good continental... More

Tenorio Lodge is a modern lodge located in the quite area between Tenorio and Miravalles NP. Here you can relax and enjoy the nature without having all the touristical noise like in the Arenal or Monteverde region. It's a nice place to watch birds and other animals and have extended walks without meeting thousands of people - or in other... More
