Stayed for 4 nights, and would say that we had a very good experience. Owners and staff were very welcoming, obliging and friendly. We dined in the hotel on each evening and found the food very good - a superb chef. A very enjoyable stay and we will definitely return.

We had an enjoyable 2 nights here, the first night we ate in the hotel restaurant which was excellent, our waiter was rather ernest and took his job very seriously but food was very good. The second night we had a very enjoyable meal at La Couronne, 44 Rue St.James, 56130 la Roche Bernard. Lovely hostess, fabulous food, great night!

We've spend two nights at Hotel Le Manoir du Rodoir and it was a pleasurable experience for the most part. The exterior promises a wonderful old mansion, but the inside is sadly enough a bit more contemporary. As a result the place lacks the atmosphere that we expect in a Manoir. We have stayed here about four times and have always appreciated its value for money accommodation and food. This time we discovered that it had changed hands in February and the new owners were probably still learning the ropes. The hotel is is set in its own grounds just outside the La Roche Bernard but within 10 minutes walking distance. It is beautifully and simply furnished with a clever combination of modernity with the traditional building. Our room was beautifully presented (see the photos). Food is good but little expensive compared with some other good options in the town.

This hotel is surrounded by beautiful, peaceful parkland. All we could hear was bird song. Our second floor room was small but comfortable. The bed had wonderfully soft pillows. We had good food and wine and excellent service in the restaurant. Breakfast, we rated as average.
