The rafting was lots of fun - I'd recommend the paddling (over the power rafting) if that's being offered when you arrive, because you get closer to the action. An excellent introduction to whitewater rafting in BC. Our skillful guide led us through the mighty rapids of the Thompson time and again to make sure we got the full experience. No need for a shower afterwards as the river water is very clean! Kumsheen is a beautiful resort, with well maintained gardens/amenities, and friendly/helpful staff. The teepee was awesome.... More

Just got back from our first trip to Kumsheen and can't wait til next time. I was a bit nervous about rafting on the Thompson River but the staff is expert and the equipment is top notch. Didn't stay at the resort but went on the rafting trip with family and a friend. The whole experience was excellent and if this is your thing then I would recommend Kumsheen.
