After a tiring week travelling in India we arrived in Pahalgam. I logged onto Tripadvisor and rang through to Hotel Brown Palace. The... More

Hi, we reached pahalgam without booing and all teh hotels were booked. However, we got two rooms at Hotel Brown palace after lot of search and did not regret it. Food was excellent and homely - though they take lot of time in preparing it. Nice little garden and very close to the river.

Our stay at brown palace was very relaxing. Our cottage had a private garden where we enjoyed our breakfast. The manager Mr Ashraf was very courteous. We enjoyed every bit of our stay there. It's a little away from the town centre but they have free drop and pickup to the market place.

We were upgraded from a deluxe room to a cottage .It had a garden attached where we were served the welcome drink - kahwa ( which... More

The inner-walls of this hotel are covered with the bark of cedar trees. Beautifully decorated with wooden crafts, this hotel has a lovely lawn that is on the banks of the lidder river, away from the hustle and bustle of the pahalgam main market area. You can hear the lidder jubilantly flowing by the hotel daylong. But what's most impressive... More
