Let me start by saying I do NOT recomend this hotel. I travel a lot for my job, and rarly do I have a problem with a hotel. This place is FILTHY. Mildew everywhere in the bathroom. There were so many stains on the carpet it made it difficult to tell what color it was. Upon arriving I refused the... More

2nd time staying in Emperor Hotel, Executive suite. Still like the hotel for its strategic location & peaceful environment as no casiono in hotel. The only disappointment was the executive breakfast lounge is under renovation, hence breakfast place jas been moved to a chinese restaurant which really defeat the purpose of us booking the Executive room. If you are considering... More

I booked this hotel upon the recommendations and reviews here. I was not disappointed. It was easy for taxi driver to find it. (could not find the hotel transfer bus). Check in staff was friendly and efficient (perhaps because I speak Chinese), I was upgraded to Deluxe suite without even asking. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the suite... More

Nice place with decent rooms and restaurant. The location is the best advantage as it is diagonally opposite to Hotel Wynn and near to Grand Lisboa, MGM. Once can comfortably walk to the downtown and tourist spots like Senado Squate and Ruins of St Paul. Once can take free shuttle from Hotel Wynn to the venetian or the ferry terminal.... More

This hotel is conveniently located nearby the historical area, as well as the casinos. This was my first time to Macau, and from the hotel it was a fairly easy walk to all of the sightseeing attractions. The hotel itself is rather old, and could use a thorough upgrading. The staff were not particularly friendly, and seemed to cater more... More

First visit from Singapore and has not felt so welcome for a long time. The front desk staff esp.Mr.Kin will try his best to accomodate your request ie. non smoking room, big bed, change currency, etc. Hotel is centralised to many food shops mostly chinese cuisine ave.HK$50-60/bowl. The roads are brightly lighted with Starworld Casino & Wynn just across the road.... More

I have stayed at Emperor twice, once in 2009 and recently in October 2011. Location is the main reason why I came back here again. Emperor Hotel is only about 5 minutes walk from the major casinos (Lisboa, Grand Lisboa, StarWorld, Wynn, MGM Grand) and only about 10-12 min walk to Senado Square. There are also some late night and... More

Stayed for one night. The staff were okay but not overly helpful. The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to fishermans wharf and other attractions. From the outside the hotel looks stunning but the room we had was so scruffy, dirty stains on the carpet and the bed was uncomfy, breakfast was rubbish with very little selection.... More

Me and my sister visited Macau and this hotel was the place we chose to stay in.The accommodation was nice, I think it's enough if you only want a place to sleep in. We didn't experience to swim on their pool and even tried their other amenities so I don't have any comment about it. They provided their guests internet... More

After checking out of Hard Rock Hotel in Taipa, we decided to stay one more night in Macau and go to the city. We booked at Emperor Hotel and we find the staff friendly and Filipinos :-) They were very accommodating and even told us where to eat if we want to taste real Portuguese cuisine. It's just sad that... More
