This small posada was a delight. Anna, the owner was a cactus enthusiast- they were everywhere. The rooms were spacious with good views of the seven-coloured mountain opposite. Bathrooms had large shower. Easy walking distance to the town. We loved our two night stay and would have loved to stay longer. A peaceful retreat.

The room was nice, the bed was, like everywhere in Argentina, small, but the hotel was clean, close to the village centre and had plenty of parking space! The wifi was weak. it didn't reach the rooms, but it is accessible in the breakfast and reception area. Breakfast and service are average, but the hotel is conveniently placed in the... More

Cosy but spacious rooms, clean, good facilities, great location close to the centre of the village. Friendly staff. Wi-fi connection weak (not unexpected given remote location!). I loved this hotel, cool Andean decor.

This was the only mudhut, totally made of mud bricks in the traditional way in this region, we stayed in in our 2 week Argtentina trip. Don't get the wrong impression...it was lovely both inside and out...but we were fascinated by the non-hotel experience and the cane built roof. The location is ideal, the staff were extremely helpful and gave... More

We stayed for 3 nights while we explored the surrounding area. A nice, clean and friendly place. The room was surprisingly clean and nicely decorated. Don't let the "Hostal" in the name fool you, it is a hotel, or posada if you will, and the prices reflect that (but still cheap once converted into AUD) Breakfast was nice, but simple.... More

We stayed for three nights in June, using Purmamarca as our base. The room was very clean and well appointed but suffered through having no hair dryer, a minor issue for a balding man but a problem for the wife! As with all hotels/hostels in Argentina, the lack of a fridge in the room was a drawback but it's a... More

The hotel is made up of small cottage-style rooms with ensuite bathroom. Centrally located with breathtaking views of the Cerro de los Siete Colores. Breakfast included in the price. It doesn't have a restaurant. Safebox available in the room. No hairdryer. Free wifi (connection was a bit erratic though), but no PCs available. The hotel is new; I personally loved... More

I stayed here for one night and thought it was OK but nothing special. The position is convenient in that it is in Purmamarca itself but the room I had was on the dark side, as is the restaurant, which is a shame given the location. The hotel advertises that it has TVs but in fact these are only provided... More

The room was beautiful and well-priced. Very luxurious for a "hostal". However, the rooms seem to have many, many beatle-like bugs crawling throughout. We had to spend 10 minutes catching them. My wife also felt the sheets were not entirely clean.
