We spent over 35 days traveling through South America. We had just been traveling over 6 hours on dirt roads from Salta and this hotel was a little oasis out in the middle of nowhere when we arrived in the evening. We came during the low season, so there was plenty of space in town. The owners were very friendly... More

Ideal place to discover the Quebrada de Humahuaca. Nicely located in the valey (although only to be reached by car) with excellent view on the mointains. The houses are spacious, in typical local architecture and tastfully decorated. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. Really nothing to criticize. Very good value for money.

We were traveling with another couple in the Salta/Jujuy area and had made reservations for one night at the Huaira Huasi. We had intended to move on up the valley closer to Humahuaca for another two nights. But one look in the door of our reserved duplex cabana and we all turned to one another and said "Let's just stay... More

Although we stayed at the most basic room type in Huaira Huasi, it was tastefully decorated, clean and spacious. The owner, Maria Emilia was very helpful and gave us some tips for things to do on our short stay, including a quite accurate weather forecast, which made us change our plans to visit Salinas Grandes (highly recommendable trip)...It offers free... My family and I spent 3 great days in Purmamarca and surroundings while staying in Huaira Huasi. We stayed in a huge cabin, beautifully decorated and brand new at a great price. I couln´t get over how gogeous their garden was, with hundreds of wild summer flowers still in bloom (see picture). The owners, a charming couple, gave us lot... More

The place is located a little outside of town, but is real value for money. I paid 100 pesos for a room and that is cheap for the quality of the place. Be prepered to pay a little more for couples and in high season. They also have cabanas for families which is huge and of high quality. Free parking,... More

Very pretty rooms with local beautiful decor (great attention to every detail). Clean and cozy. The beautiful location is just a couple of km beyond Purmamarca town on the left going toward Salinas Grandes. Very quiet and relaxed. Fantastic breakfast included. Free parking and internet. The owner is a warm and welcoming young guy, Cesar, who does everything possible to... More
