The hotel is very charming in several aspects. The staff was great as the restaurant. It's located up in the hill with a nice city view. The only problem we have was to find a place to park. Since it is next to the church and the streets are very thigh we had some troubles with the SUV car we... More

Unexpected gem near Fatima. Pleasant accommodation and excellent restaurant. The approach was somewhat unnerving, as we had to abandon the car in the rain at the cobbled part of the incline as it got no grip and we had bad wheelspin. That said, the village is charming and friendly. Notwithstanding the Poussada, the village itself was refreshingly untouristy and the... More

Though near 3 tourist places Batalha,Alcobaça ,Tomar, this Pousada doesn't even put its lights on until8:PM.The location is very nice but the pousada must have the worse food ever, lousy breakfast, and cheap modern decoration.

I booked a superior room which I found small, especially the bed. The location on a hilltop near an old large fort and in a small old town is very nice. The poor across a narrow cobbled street from the main hotel is small but offers excellent views and is very relaxing. The restaurant offers a limited menu that would... More

In March the restaurant food proved to be one of the strengths of this hotel. Set in a hilltop village the approach in a hired car was seriously alarming. This is not just the elbow bend on the steep road, but the final cobbled section (still steep) with a blind bend in the middle. (Of course, away from the motorways... More

I recently stayed in this hotel with my husband during 1 weekend. The location is perfect, inside the castle limits, the rooms are confortable despite a bit small. Breakfast was not as good as in other Pousadas around Portugal. We have made the reservation through the internet and filed a complain while there because we booked a superior double room... More

Very nice. Substantially cheaper tha Pousda Castelo in Obidos, Ourem is not as cool as Obidos but one can wander around the hillock and its pretty cool. Rooms probably wre nicer and more modern than Obidos as well. All the pousada restaurants we ate in wre good if a little expensive and often had fancier dishes than could be successfully... More

We arrived by the back road, and we were visually impressed with the hotel and its setting. Ourem is a beautiful hilltop village, and the views are splendid. You enter the hotel, bypassing the most incredible display of fuchsia flowers, and once inside we were offered fresh lemonade and directed to our room. The room is nice, but kind of... More

I stayed at the pousada Conde de Ourem because I needed a place for a couple of days while I was visiting the central part of Portugal: Fatima, Tomar and Bathala. The location is fine because is a mediaval hilltop but the problems are connected to the room (not well furnished) and the food : infact there were only 2... More

Easy to find as there are signs for Pousada posted at all major roads, parking right in front, good breakfast. If not for the smell in the bathroom we probably would have like it. Get dinner ar the Rodzio Pizza in Ourem at Rua Dr. Neves Eliden - they have a wide selection of very unique and great testing pizzas... More
