Location was great except for getting there. As a North American drive the country roads in Portugal can be challenging. “Charming Rural Retreat”

The Casal da Eira Branca has been developed with considerable thought for the comfort of its residents by the friendly owners. The rooms set around a courtyard are fairly spacious and well equipped even down to a torch and an umbrella. On arrival we found bottled water and a bowl of fruit awaiting us. very good location for nature and see lovers, have been treated like a king, very very helpful owners. excellent breakfast, everything fresh and homemade. nice rooms with lots of space, bathroom equipped like 5 star hotel.
