Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Owners provide a free shuttle from and to the airport and a free daily breakfast. Room's are basic, but have everything you need whilst on holiday. Room's are cleaned and fresh towels provided daily. The pool area was usually quiet, allowing us to have the pool to ourselves for much of our holiday. Beautiful, quiet location with access to a small local beach with warm, shallow waters. The walk to Tsaivli is around 20 minutes, using the main road. Therefore, car rental is advisable, which the owners can also help with. Will definitely be back to holiday here again.

We are just back from a week at the Limanaki Apartments. I checked previous positive reviews before booking and we were not disappointed when we arrived. We were picked up by the owner from the airport (no extra charge) and he recommended a different layout of apartment to suit our needs (which was slightly cheaper) rather than the one I had originally booked. Excellent advice as our view from the changed apartment was wonderful and it had 3 balconies! The complex is small (about 10 units in total) with lots of room to spread out on the grass. Not shortage of sun beds and an excellent pool. The owners live on-site during the summer months and are always on hand to answer questions. The complex is just above Bouka beach - a few steps take you down to the lovely clean beach where there is a very good beach bar serving drinks and snacks with friendly staff. I think this place is ideal for families as well as people who just want to be close but not too close to Tsilivi town which is now very built up. You can walk along the beach into town in the evenings where there are some excellent restaurants. The hosts gave us very good recommendations The hosts also drove us to a local restaurant Meraki with panoramic views over Tsilivi and one of the restaurant staff left us back to the apartment again when we had finished our meal - we went there 3 evenings. Excellent food and service and would highly recommend. In all an excellent week with wonderful hosts - we will definitely go back

We stayed here with friends who have been four times before and raved about the place and it's owners. We loved it so much that we're going back again soon. Dionysis and Tassia are great hosts; taking us to a couple of lovely restaurants that we would never have found ourselves, giving us lifts and coming with us to talk to doctors when one of us needed to visit the hospital, cooking us a family recipe soup with the fish that we had bought from the local fishermen and providing cheap, flexible, laid back car hire for the duration of our stay. The place itself is wonderfully peaceful. A 15 minute walk along the beach from the busy resort of Tsilivi. It's close enough to walk into the resort if you like that kind of thing but far enough away to give you a lovely relaxing base away from the noisy bars and bucket & spade brigade! Olive trees provide shade around a good pool. There are lemon trees that you can pick fruit from. The beach is a couple of minutes walk away with a great beach bar for drinks and food. There is a local shop and butchers within walking distance. Another thing we loved was the fact that, even in mid August, the pool was not busy, the communal barbecue was always available and the people we met here were a refreshing mix of mainland Greeks,Italians,British and Polish who all seemed to be like minded about the lovely ethos here (many of whom keep revisiting - ourselves now included!).

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Limanaki Apartments. The studio itself was simple and clean with a beautiful sea view from our balcony. The owner was wonderful, he arranged for us to be picked up from the airport and dropped us off himself for our return flight. He also helped in an emergency situation when my dad lost his glasses in the sea and we needed a car to go to the optician in Zakynthos Town. He not only let us rent a car but didn’t want any money for it. Wonderful owner and a great place with a pool with a minute walk to the beach. Local restaurants with best Greek food are also very close so if you want to stay away from touristic places, I do recommend Limanaki.

Having just returned we would like to say thank you to Dionysis and Tassia the owners. Nothing is too much trouble for them in making your stay enjoyable. What more can we say that the other reviews have not. Will deffinatly return as this is a place you can really relax and enjoy Greek hospitality at its best. We had a one bedroom apartment and were very happy with it, we joined friends who had a one bed superior for two children which had great views being on the first floor.

We loved this place. The owner and his wife are so warm and friendly. From start to end. The garden is wonderful with olive and lemon trees and a beautiful swimming pool. The house is spacious and very clean. And it's only a few steps to the sea.

Limanaki apartments is such a special place. In beautiful grounds, right next to the beach, with fantastic views over the sea, including from the apartment balconies (especially if you have a first (top)-floor place). It feels rural and far away from the slightly tacky town of Tsivili, although it only takes about 20 minutes to walk there, if you take the short cut across the beach - and accept that you may have to wade through the sea if the tide's in! Swimming pool is clean, not very deep, and the area surrounding it is well-maintained and peaceful, with numerous sunbeds that were always available. The beach is a fairly steep but very short climb down a few steps. The bay is safe because it's sheltered by a small harbour. There are lots of lovely animals around - the family own two chilled and very cute dogs and some very friendly cats too. The apartment itself (a studio for 2 people) was clean and well-equipped, nothing fancy, but very rustic and comfortable. Fantastic to be able to sit out on the balcony overlooking the sea with a bottle of the local retsina. Very peaceful. There is air conditioning, mosquito guards over the balcony doors, and a selection of books in various languages. A large fridge means that you can keep your beers, wines and bottled water nicely chilled. Dionysis and Thassia the owners are very friendly and extremely helpful. They can help you plan a day out by car, and even hire out the vehicle to you for a reasonable price. They'll tell you all the places that are off the tourist maps. They offer free transfers to and from the airport which is fantastic. We would love to return some day.

Never felt more at home on a holiday! From pick up at the airport till leaving we felt very welcome by Dionysis and his family. Always ready to share good tips and a good story. Appartement was very clean and also maintained very well throughout the stay. Place is very quiet and only few steps down to nice beach with great bar. Pool is also nice and clean and with a rental car a good place to see all the beautiful corners of the island.
