It seems like this hotel does not quite know what it is yet. From the outside it looks great with nicely tended gardens and picturesque buildings. Decent hotel. Good service. Good food. Friendly staff. A bit out of town (10minutes), but very quiet. Nice setting. (The monkeys and bears mentioned in other reviews and in the LP guide are no longer there.... returned to the authorities...). It's quiet - so take something to read.

In that "ecolodge area" (thus labelled !), they keep two moon bears in small barren cages, and a monkey in another cage, with nothing to entertain themselves (except plastic bags and bottles for the monkey).
