Went in April 2012. I went with an open mind after reading mixed reviews. The apartments were basic but, clean and in a good location. The staff were friendly and we had no problems with ants or any other creepy crawlies.

Apartments cleaned 6 days out of 7, towels changed twice a week and linen once a week. Pool area cleaned every morning. Too cold to use the pool but wouldn't mind going in Summer. Yes the pool was somewhat nippy - but our visit was March and unheated pools in Lanzarotte (which is most of them) take a few weeks of warm sun to be temperate.
