Stayed in San Marcial in Jan for a week and loved it. Located in Matagorda, €5-8 in a taxi to PDC or about 30 minute walk. Resort itself was lovely. just back! This is a lovely complex with a good pool area and restaurant (good salads and fantastic cool beer in ice-cold glasses). However, the interior of the apartments is a let-down: shabby and out-dated decor; windows and doors in need of painting or replacement; our shower door falling apart, poor water pressure at times and just about adequate kitchen... Our family stayed here over Easter 2012. The apartments are spacious but a little bit dated. We have just returned from a week in these apartments. Very friendly people and the restaurant was excellent from the people to the food!! Ok the apartments do need a bit of TLC and some of the sheets were ripped in the corner - but it was cleaned almost every day so not dirty!! Like other reviews you are close... More

You get what u pay for. This is a fab 2star self catering apartment - good size, adequate utensils and bits and pieces, microwave, fridge - Take some pegs. Very friendly. Fab pool area. Stayed here, self catering again for 2 weeks in March this year. Certainly a place I would come back to. Very quiet, except for bit of aircraft noise but that doesn't bother me and anyway the airport runway is only a 7 minute walk away and therefore makes the apartments ideal for anyone into taking aircraft photos(like me) Spar supermarket...
