The proprietor Richard van Marle continues to maintain a high standard. The menu we chose with our friends was varied and of good quality. The wine list although not extensive offered a good selection, with the bias towards the Loire which suited us.

The hotel is located near the centre of Mayenne and, although it is on a busy road with lorries rushing by, the soundproofing of the rooms meant that we hardly heard the traffic at all.
