I stayed for 15nights in May 2009. Although only one member of staff had a smattering of English this did not stop them being helpful, friendly and attentive. The room was very nice with a king size bed and a hammock on the bacony. The food was as good as any at the resort and i would not hesitate to...

It's very well decorated, very colourful and totally integrated with the rest of the street. The rooms are ok, comfortable and nice decorated as well. The breakfast is great, with good variety, including local dishes. The localization is the best part, as the hotel is in the main street of Praia do Forte, within a few steps from the restaurants...

The pousada is very well located and the staff was always very nice and friendly. Breakfast was very good too. However, the rooms are a bit old, the air conditioning is really noisy at night and cleaning is just Ok.
The owners have another pousada nearby, called Villa dos Corais, and I believe that would be a much better choice!...
