A very warm welcome greeted us when we arrived at this charming house, situated in the 'bush' with views to the ocean.
Roli is a very friendly host who served tea and cake as soon as we had been shown to our very clean and comfortable room.
Breakfast included delicious muesli, made by our hosts, and eggs from their hens....

We came from Hong Kong and had a 10 day tour of the South Island. Stayed one night at The Rocks at the start of our trip. It was the best of the 8 motels/B&B we had stayed for this trip. The place is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had. Eva and Roli were not only...

After staying with Roli and Eva for one night in 2010, on our second trip to New Zealand in 2012

Really beatiful and sustainable house! With great views to the sea side. If you want to relax it is worth to stay longer. The owners are really friendly and helpful. It was the most incredible place I stay ever:)

Hosts: Rolly and Eva went...

Rolly and Eva were very friendly and helpful hosts and our room was very comfortable, with unobstructed views of the sea just north of Punakaiki rocks. We chose to have breakfast (at a reasonable price) and were served a delicious and...

Down a dirt road, just far enough that you think you must have missed it, is this great B&B. With a wall of windows overlooking the bush and ocean, this place exudes tranquility. We had a room on the ground floor with our own private sunroom. Roli will make dinner if you wish ( which I recommend since the selection...

Roli made us welcome as soon as we stepped over the threshold of this stunning homestay set amongst bush and looking towards the steep limestone and forest behind the property, with wide sea views to the other side. Very soon we were introduced to Eva and baby Aaron, he is a delightful baby. Always smiling !
Our room was delightful...

We stayed at The Rocks Homestay for 1 night but I wish we would have stayed longer. The rooms are tastefully decorated and I think that the pictures on the website don't do justice to the beauty of the place. The view from the room is absolutely stunning and there is a little "window patio" where you can sit and...
