We were instantly made to feel at home and nothing was a problem. They treated us just like family and helped to make our south island trip extremely enjoyable, providing us with fond memories. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay with Raelyn and Dennis! They really make their guests feel at home in their beautiful house overlooking the ocean! We stopped there on our self-guided tour of NZ (with friends) because of the proximity to Punakaiki (highly recommended sight). We stayed only one night, but wish it were longer!

Blue Waves was a home away from home and Rae and Denis were so friendly that when we left their establishment we felt that we were leaving good friends. Their home is a beautiful place to stay and if anyone is contemplating staying in this area dont go pass this fatastic home stay.

This is an opportunity to share a private home with Rae and Derek, your hosts. Our fellow guests were good company and Rae provided an excellent evening meal, with freshly caught whitebait. Quite a drive for local restaurants and amenities which could be found in Greymouth.
