We stayed at this hotel for one night during our trip to France. This hotel-chateau in the Loire valley presents stylish accommodation. Our classic double room with extra bed for our daughter was very romantic. It was located in the 15th-century castle. The windows of our room had an unusual shape and offered sweeping views overlooking the golf course. There... More

A lovely hotel, in a lovely setting, surrounded by parkland and what looked like a very nice Golf Course. The rooms were a little scruffy, but had everything you need, including a well stocked mini bar, The views from the rooms were great overlooking the golf course and very quiet. All the staff were welcoming and very helpful. The restaurant... More

The view of the castle is impressive. We chose the hotel in spite of the negative reviews because the castle's website seduced us completely. Our logic was 'it cannot be THAT bad'. But it was, not terrible, just bad. First the room: medium sized, overlooking the golf course (nice!) but we were however distracted from its view by the badly... More

The perfect setting of the Chateau and its excellent golf course is not done justice by the bedrooms in the Chateau. Thje views from the rooms are great across the golf course but they are not four star quality. The double beds are small, the decor is tired with paint chipping of the woodwork doors and skirting boards and the... More

We stayed here 4 nights. It was a nice quiet location, with its own golf course, which made for good views from the restaurant and bar. The staff were young, friendly and made every effort to be helpful. They recommended another great restaurant in the area and made the reservations. The in-house restaurant served good rich french food and the... More

First, the good points. The chateau grounds are lovely, very peaceful and serene. Summer would be the ideal time to enjoy the property when the pool is open. Location was a bit isolated and far from the highway for our needs, but others may not find this a problem. The rooms were ok. The furnishings were not of 4 star... More

This was booked as the highlight of a week in the Loire Valley and in the end it was a disappointing stay. The building and location are great. Good news and bad news on check in. As there were virtually no other guests, we had been upgraded to the main building from the coach house. As it was a Monday... More

It's not the sort of place you expect to find as a hotel, a 500 year old castle. But it is, and it's beautiful. We had a room in the turret for approx €105 whch was fabulous. The restaurant was superb, we speak virtually no French and all the staff soon realised this and tried their best in English which... More
