This is a decent hotel very clean and a good breakfast. Staff are quite nice. Would be good value and is right in the centre of Argassi but still very private & quiet However I found a big problem around the pool area, there is an undergroud heating plant which at certain times of the day spews out fumes and... we spent two weeks at the palmyra in july 2010. the price was expensive (950E each) but included breakfasts, which were very good and buffet style. The rooms were small, but clean, and linen and towels were changed every day. The downside was, the shower was far too small, and the fridge had to be rented. The hotel itself was... More

The room was disappointing - very small, uncomfortable beds, among other things and generally of a lower standard than was described. When we complained of a number of issues regarding our accommodation we were offered no help or alternatives. We were made feel extremely uncomfortable throughout our stay - customer service did not exist - we were not even spoken... More

We stayed in Palmyra hotel for two weeks. I definitely will not stay there again. The bedroom was very small as was the bathroom. The shower was tiny with an old looking plastic shower curtain which kept sticking to you while you showered as there was no space and there was nothing to hang the shower head onto so that... More

We stayed here for a week in August 2008. We found the hotel to be very clean, but more importantly, very quiet at night. The rooms were cleaned every day, with fresh towels and fresh bed-linen every other day. The pool area is lovely and we were more than happy to spend most days there, just soaking up the sun.... Definattely not a 3star hotel. My husband and I stayed only 3 days but we were very dissapointed. Our room was dirty, and no one came to clean in our room or give us clean towels. The pool was ok, but we couldn't sit over 20 minutes in the plastic sunbeds. Breakfast was poor and the area was depressing. We... More

We thought that the hotel was a nice, clean hotel. We were a bit worried before going because of some of the negative reviews but we found it to be a nice relaxing stay. we also had a sea view which was a nice surprise! I don't think this hotel merits its 3 star status. The brochure and website advertise air conditioning and hair dryers in the rooms. The air conditioning is only available during July and August and no hair dryer was provided. The maid service wasn't very good. Some days our room wan't touched at all meaning we ended up with two days'... More

Stayed at Palmyra in July- for the price you pay (we paid 400 for 2 weeks including flights and everything) it was LOVELY. 5* facilities; the reception is gorgeous as is the restaurant the food was fab! Breakfast is OK, the pool was so quiet, you don't have to reserve sunbeds - it could do with a bit of a... More
