good for a budget stay. its clean and basic and the food is good. the location is ok with in 1 to 2 km to mission street for shopping. Overall good option for short stays but beware they charge 50 rs for wifi for 1 hr.

I stayed in this hotel during the weekend of Auroville marathon. I enjoyed the stay in the hotel. The hotel has got a good attached vegetarin restuaurent and the food serverd is vey yummy. Their masala dosa's simply melts in your mouth.

Last weekend(16.2.2013) we stayed at Jayaram Hotel Pondicherry.We enjoyed our stay also food Especially the south Indian Thali Meals served in the afternoon.The North Indian food is so so.Room service is very prompt.I recommend this hotel who would like to stay in decent place with good Veg Food.

Nice clean hotel. Vegetarian food is awesome. Very affordable. Though we had to wait as the rooms were fully booked and they took time to prepare it for us. Nice big rooms which were non ac yet very comfortable.

A no frills hotel which is reasonably priced. Nice vegetarian restaurant at the lobby level. The HK staff can be quite irritating and hang around for tips.The hotel is located opposite to a theatre and can get a bit cramped during showtimes.Ample parking available.The Hotel has seen better times and a renovation can help.

Went there during Christmas with friends. Double rooms where for 1600. Rooms where clean and spacious,but could be better for the money. Not exactly in the french quarter need to cross the crowded jn street every time. Hospitality is horrible, no flexibility with check out timings. Restaurant is good for south indian food.
