The house was the most charming I could expect. Everything I dreamed about the British countryside! Our room was very prety, with low ceiling and wood beams. The bathroom was charmingly decorated in tones of blue, and had all the ammenities, and had both a tub and a shower. The house had lots of antique furniture. Breakfast was very good... More

My father and I visited Great Britain in Oct. 2011, and even though we only stayed in the Cotswolds for four days, it was the highlight of our trip. We found ourselves not even wanting to leave the house in the morning to do our site seeing. We felt we were treated so specially. The owners Jane and William Pusey... More

We were warmly greeted in the stunning Old Manor House by Jane and William with tea in the Sitting room. The bedrooms were perfect, clean and comfortable, our two teenage children loved their room also. We had two fantastic evening meals out on William's recommendation at the Howard Arms and the Bell Inn both within 3 miles. The Breakfast was... More

Very nice stay on a business trip. Lovely old house and beautiful room. Lots to look at in the house as well. I did however get lost on the way back from the pub, as the night was so dark and the lanes are confusing.

The building with its exposed beams and uneven floor was very pretty, comfortable and warm. No problem with the heating at all. Our hosts, William and Jane, were most welcoming and helpful. The huge lounge with the sun streaming in was a lovely place to relax and the acre of gardens a great place to wander in the company of... More

I booked a room Here as a surprise for my husbands birthday. On the day we were warmly greeted by Jane who swiftly showed us to our room while she made a pot of tea. We enjoyed this in the vast yet beautiful lounge. We stayed in the wing of the Manor House with garden views from all three windows.... More

We stayed here on the recommendation of the Alastair Sawday website, which previously had never given us a bum steer. When we arrived there was no heating on at all (it was snowing outside), either in the attractive lounge or in our bedroom. They lit the fire and turned the heating on but during our stay it never really warmed... More

I had booked to stay at the Old Manor Cottage (which is part of Old Manor House) in April for 3 days, a trip I was very much looking forward to. Unfortunately, due to the volcanic eruption, my arrival in the UK was delayed (I phoned Old Manor Cottage to explain this). Whilst I do appreciate that the cancellation policy... More

The Old Manor house was just a delight to stay in. The house itself exudes old world charm and is beautifully decorated. The hosts Jenny and William were lovely as was their son Nick. We were made to feel very welcome. The gardens were a delight . There is a great hotel called the The Halford Bridge hotel within walking... More

My husband and I took my mother to visit the villages in the Cotswolds area - and we stayed in this most delightful B&B. It has charm and is decorated to very high standards. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and despite the weather being typically grey and dreary, the Manor House lifted our spirits. The breakfast was absolutely delicious (it... More
