My large family(11 adults, 3 toddlers and baby) stayed at the Lodges recently for a memorial trip and we all found Wai Hou Oma Lodge to be just what we wanted. Separate Lodges for the families and the ability to all be together. We went for the catered option and with us being such a large group we were not... More

Thanks family.. I am so glad that everyone was happy... you were such an easy bunch to care for. Hope the over seas lot got home easily and safely. The little ones were a delight, and having a baby to cuddle whilst you were trying to eat was a plus for me! best regards Ruby and Noel More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was great and the art work and architecture was beautiful. We especially enjoyed riding the mt bikes around the beautiful nearby lake and enjoyed swimming in the crystal clear and yes, warm lake. This is a hidden gem, the host are also fun to talk with and very helpful.

We have just had a wonderful stay at Wai Hou Oma Lodge. Everything was lovely - great room and location and delicious food! Many thanks to very generous hosts Ruby and Noel. We enjoyed catching up with friends and showing an overseas guest around. Look forward to next time.

We had a lovely stay at Wai Hou Oma Lodge. The setting and lodge were brilliant and even though our stay was short, it felt like proper holiday. Plenty of natural encounters within easy distance make it a good base. Ruby was a very accomodating and friendly hostess and we enjoyed the company of the little furry hosts as well... More

Certainly one out of the box, beautiful tranquil setting, great rooms, great food and awesome service, we will be back and will be telling everyone about it. Loved the art and landscaping. The pace had a beautiful relaxing feel, nothing was a hazzel. The spa was just perfect after a day of relaxing.

We had an excellent last night in New Zealand here before heading to Auckland to catch a flight the next day. The drive wasn't bad at all from here, so I would recommend this as a first or last stop coming or going from Auckland. We stayed in the Studio Lodge and it seemed to be one of the more... More

A great spot to get away from it all and relax. Four lodges on site - three doubles over looking the private lake and one family one overlooking the gardens. We were put in the family lodge and were initally disappointed not to have the lake view but in fact the garden is gorgeous and very very private - it... More

Right from the start we were made to feel at home. Had booked for two nights but loved the place so much stayed for another night. All you need to prepare your meals is there. The next town is about 1/2hr drive so best to get your provisions (though the hosts can prepare breakfast/dinner if requested in advance). If wanting... More
