Payed less for larger and more comfortable rooms elsewhere in Northland. Friendly staff but the basic cabin was less than ideal, our unit had clearly not been used or cleaned in some time. What a great camp ground, the hosts were very friendly, facilities fine, good even as there were no token to get a hot shower, just press the button. Quite a gem on the west coast. The cabin and batch option meant we had the camping feel without the hassle of tenting which was brilliant for this wet holiday season. Plenty of the space for the kids to play and things on site to keep the engaged. Facilities were great.
