THIS HOTEL IS NOW CALLED THE TRINITY HOTEL - REFURBISHED AND REBRANDED IN 2014/15 WINTER SEASON. Myself and two friends visited this hotel from 28 July 2015 - 4 August 2015 on a Thomson Scene package holiday. All three of us had an amazing time and cannot rate this hotel highly enough (hence this long review). This is a party hotel. It is situated right on the main strip right next door to Zeros nightclub (google it - one of the largest bars/clubs on the Strip). If you are looking for a week of bar crawls, parties, fun with a great location and everything you need on one road then this is the hotel to be at. If you are looking for something more relaxing, then I would suggest that somewhere further away from the main Strip in Laganas might be more suitable. Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by our Thomson reps, Bill and Alex, who were both really friendly and welcoming. We bought a "Scene" wristband from them for 220 euro straight-out. The wristband signs you up for numerous organised, 'Thomson Scene-endorsed' events all week. Included in our wristband for the week was a bar crawl, a paint party in Rescue (another big club just two doors down from the hotel), a foam party at Rescue, a day-time pool party at a beach club, a full-moon party at Cherry Bay with an after-party, a themed "secret party" organised by the reps at Waikiki club, a Pukka Up boat party and some other bits. In all, each event cost us in the region of 23 euros. The wristband also gets you discounts at several bars and restaurants, which is handy when it comes to morning-after fry ups! The wristband is worth buying, not only for the above reasons, but also the fact that it makes sure you meet with other holiday go-ers and make some decent friends during your visit. It is also (obviously) cheaper than buying the event tickets individually each day. Bill and Alex made sure that we were all happy in the hotel and were always available either around the pool or in the lobby (where there is a dedicated rep-desk next to Reception). They made sure that we felt welcome at the hotel, and made sure we had a cracking first night out. The lady on the front desk (a Greek lady) was always pleasant to us. We handed over our passports upon arrival for safe-keeping along with a 20 euro deposit (per person) for breakages. This is hardly unreasonable given that it is a party hotel and things do get broken by careless people. During our stay we saw one room completely trashed, including all of the floor tiles completely smashed - it would have cost a lot more than 20 euros to rectify! We were returned the deposit money at the end of the trip (after the hotel staff inspected the room on check-out). Treat the hotel with respect and the staff treat you with respect. The reception desk is 24 hour, and has security at night. They also require you to hand over your key to Reception when leaving the hotel on a night out etc. This is actually quite handy, as it gives you the peace of mind that you'll be able to get in should you get too drunk and loose everything. Also, don't jump into the pool after 7pm, as that's when they treat it with chlorine. The room itself is basic. However, on a holiday like this you should only be in the room to sleep and get ready for the night out anyway! The beds are not uncomfortable; the maid comes around daily and at a reasonable hour; there is air conditioning available (at a charge of around 40 euro for a week) and a fridge available (for a charge of 14 euro for a week) and plenty of plug sockets and drawers/cupboards/hangers. We were lucky to have a ground floor, pool view room at no extra charge (Room 115) and were very happy with it. The bathroom is more of a wet room with a drain in the middle, and the shower is often cold, but most hotels in Greece have cold showers, and you might even be grateful for them when it comes to after the hot days by the pool! Towels and sheets are provided, but (see above) just take care of them, otherwise you'll get charged for stains, rips etc. The pool area is great - a variety of music was playing from around mid-day until around mid-night, including house, garage, grime and old school classics. It's lively and there's plenty of sun loungers and tables for everyone. There's a pool bar serving a range of cocktails, shots, soft drinks, food, ice cream and laughing gas. Both bar-men (big shout out to Rob!) are both fantastic, both make you feel welcome and generally look after you the whole holiday. There are other members of staff who are all friendly and make sure that you have a good time. Again, treat them with respect and they'll look after you for the week! Make sure to have a Vodka-Jucee at least once during your stay. During the week we visited, most other guests were around 20-25 years old, which I was happy with as a lot of people on our transfer coach were 17-20. It had a good vibe and there wasn't any drunk kids showing off at the pool. There was also a good boy/girl ratio. We made good friends with two different groups and had the best week with them both. We've all said that we'll keep in contact and have plans to visit the Thomson reunion in Skegness in November. As for the nightlife - it is amazing. As above, buy the wristband and you will be guaranteed a good night out every night that you are there. The reps do a fantastic job at ensuring that everyone gets involved in the drinking games and makes sure that everyone has a good time. After a few days, both Alex and Bill had to swap to a different hotel, but were replaced by Scouse Dan and Matt. Again - both reps were great and made sure that we were happy, livened the mood when people were hungover, and just had great banter the whole week we were there! We also met some of the other Thomson Scene reps during the nights out, and I wanted to mention Penny, Sophie and Leon in particular, as again they were all fantastic and made sure that we were having a good night, even though we were not staying at their resorts. All of the reps named in this review are a credit to Thomson Scene (as I am sure the others are too), and I can honestly say that they made the holiday what it was. They are also a fountain of knowledge when it comes to deciding where to eat during the evening. In summary, if you want a reasonably priced, clean, lively hotel with friendly staff (both staff and reps) then book the Trinity with Thomson Scene. I assure you that you will not want to come home after your holiday. Everyone is in a party-mood and up for a good time. DO NOT BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. Personally, I am waiting for the day that 2016 bookings start so I can book up again with Thomson. If you are looking for a luxury resort, or a quieter resort with the benefit of the Strip, then perhaps somewhere else would be more suited for you. Again, this is in the middle of the strip next to the biggest nightclubs which is open until 5am, along with numerous restaurants/bars/shops. Although the hotel isn't "noisy", it isn't somewhere you go to sleep at 9pm either. You will also see some reviews for the same hotel under the name 'Diva Hotel'. Ignore these reviews- the hotel was refurbished in the winter of 2014/15 and (if the old reviews are accurate - which I highly doubt) bears no resemblance to the Trinity Hotel. I had a great week, and cannot wait to return. The hotel also has free wifi, as do most bars and restaurants down the strip. The hotel is 5 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes to any bar/club down the strip. There are also several convenience stores within a 30 second walk of the front door. Thank you to the Trinity staff, especially Rob the barman, and all the Thomson Scene reps that made our holiday so amazing.…
